Terms of Service

Welcome to Track 2 Trace ("tr2tr"). By accessing or using our app, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the app.

 

1. Acceptance of Terms

 

By downloading, accessing, or using tr2tr, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

 

2. User Responsibilities

 

  • Acceptable Use: You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.

  • Prohibited Activities:You must not:

              - Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the app's source code.

              - Access or use the app for any fraudulent or unlawful activity.

              - Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality or servers.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

​

All content, features, and functionality of the app, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of tr2tr and are protected by international intellectual property laws.

4. Data Collection and Processing

​

  • Authentication Data: 

    • Apple Sign-In: We collect the encrypted email address provided by Apple when you authenticate using your Apple ID.

    • Google Sign-In: We collect the email address provided by Google when you authenticate using your Google account. Additionally, we receive your name from Google; however, we do not use this information.

  • Data Processing Purposes: Your data is used solely to create and manage your user account. We do not use your data for marketing or tracking purposes.

5. Data Storage and Security

  • Storage Location: All user data is stored securely in a Firestore database located in Europe.

  • Security Measures: We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

6. Data Deletion

 

  • Account Deletion: If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently deleted from our database and cannot be retrieved.

  • In-App Data Deletion: Any data you delete within the app is also permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

7. User Rights

​

  • Data Access: 

    • ​Apple Sign-in: As we do not store identifiable personal data from users that login, beyond the encrypted email, we are unable to provide users with their data upon request.

    • Google Sing-in: You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, which includes only the email address and name provided during authentication via Google. To request this information, please contact us at tracktwotrace@gmail.com.

  • Data Deletion: You have the right to delete your account and associated data at any time.

8. App Availability

​

We reserve the right to take the app offline at any time. In such an event, all user data will be permanently deleted.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

​

To the fullest extent permitted by law, tr2tr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the app.

  • Any unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

 

10. Governing Law

 

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, including compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Dutch GDPR Implementation Act (Uitvoeringswet AVG), without regard to its conflict of law principles.

 

11. Changes to the Terms

 

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms of Service within the app. Your continued use of the app after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Service.
